VibraDerm, a clinically proven topical skin treatment, is the next generation form of micro dermabrasion. It does not sandblast the skin with Aluminum Oxide crystals. Instead, Vibraderm uses a rapidly vibrating paddle coated with small abrasive to exfoliate the outer layers of damaged skin tissue, leaving healthier and more radiant skin. The process is fast, very comfortable and produces exceptional results. Over 75% of the stratum corneum (top layer of non-living skin cells) is removed during the treatment. VibraInfusion is a partner technology to VibraDerm. The other side of the abrasive paddle has a plastic coated exterior that can also be used to gently vibrate and infuse skin care products into the deepest layers of the skin.

What is the difference between Microdermabrasion and VibraDerm?
Unlike traditional microdermabrasion, VibraDerm does not sandblast aluminum oxide crystals over the skin. During the treatment, the VibraDerm paddles vibrate over the skin at extremely high speeds, exfoliating the top layer of skin and stimulating collagen growth.
Unlike other skin rejuvenation treatments, VibraDerm is safe enough for use on your entire body. It is arguably the fastest, most comfortable alternative to microdermabrasion available. Many individuals prefer VibraDerm simply for its lack of sand blasting effect and post-treatment redness.
Indications for treatment with VibraDerm and VibraInfusion:
VibraDerm can be used for the treatment of variations in skin pigment, scarring from acne or other injury, coarse or dull skin, enlarged pores, thinning of the layers of the skin, fine lines and wrinkles, loss of collagen and elastin and other evidence of sun damage. VibraDerm increases results from laser and IPL treatments, chemical peels, treating keratosis pilaris, reducing acne breakouts, and improving the results from facials. VibraInfusion is used to enhance the absorption of compounds such as hydrating compounds, moisturizing compounds, collagen stimulating compounds, and many others. VibraInfusion Therapy will typically produce a 500% increase in the absorption of any topical product.
How long does a VibraDerm treatment take?
A treatment typically takes less than 30 minutes to perform and has essentially no downtime. This makes VibraDerm easy to fit into busy schedules and ensures that you can get back to your active lifestyle. Sometimes a temporary redness will be visible for up to one to four hours after treatment.
Can VibraDerm be used on any other part of the body?
Yes, VibraDerm, can smooth and brighten the skin of the face, neck, chest, back, arms, and legs. It can be used to smooth rough skin on heels, elbows, and knees.
Who are the best candidates for VibraDerm?
VibraDerm is safe and effective for all skin types and colors. Although everyone will notice the polished feel and look of their skin after a treatment, the best candidates are those with fine lines, wrinkles, acne, sun damage, or uneven texture.
Who should not have treatment with VibraDerm?
VibraDerm is gentle enough to be performed on almost everyone. It should not be performed in an area with an open wound or a recently healed wound. Any restrictions that apply for topical compounds would also apply when used with VibraInfusion. Pregnancy is a relative contra indication.
Can VibraDerm be used with other treatments?
ABSOLUTELY! VibraDerm works well with photo facials. By removing the stratum corneum, the light penetrates deeper and more evenly providing for a better photo facial treatment. In addition, VibraDerm can be done one to two weeks following a photo facial to enhance the results.
What is treatment with VibraDerm like?
The treatment is performed in the office, and is quick and comfortable. There is an enjoyable and gentle massaging or buzzing sensation as the treatment is performed. The strength of the treatment is adjustable, and so is customized for the comfort of each individual. VibraDerm can be performed on any area of the body, but is commonly performed on the face, neck, and chest areas.
How quickly will I see results?
There is an immediate, more smooth and polished look to the skin. Within 2 to 6 weeks, the skin will show evidence of increased collagen production. A good skin care program at home will enhance the results.
Are the results permanent?
Typically, a series of 6-10 treatments are performed every 1-4 weeks for maximum improvement, and results last 3-6 months. Maintenance treatments are usually performed once every 1-3 months following the completion of the initial series. It is safe and gentle to be performed routinely.
What are the risks, potential complications, and side effects of VibraDerm?
- Mild swelling or redness of the skin immediately following the treatment, but generally no downtime
- Hypersensitivity to the treatment or to a topical compound
- Allergic reaction to a topical compound
- Tickling sensation or sneezing with treatment of the nose
