What is the O-Shot?
The O-Shot® (also known as the Orgasm Shot) is a non-surgical treatment that uses a patient’s platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to help rejuvenate the vaginal area. It stimulates the growth of new cells and boosts blood flow to the clitoris and vagina for enhanced sensation and improved sexual wellness.
The O-Shot relies on PRP from the patient’s own blood. The body uses these growth factor-rich platelets to initiate cellular repair and specific types of tissue growth, including new collagen and blood vessels. This process is designed to increase sensitivity of clitoral stimulation by improving cell function and increasing blood flow to the vaginal area.
Regenerative Medicine procedures, including stem cell therapy and PRP therapy, have been used successfully for years in many fields of medicine such as Orthopedic and Sports Medicine to help restore injured muscles and tendons. Platelet Rich Plasma is used extensively in Oral & Dental Surgery as well as Aesthetic Medicine including, Hair restoration, and Vampire Face procedures.
After receiving the shot treatment, many patients report stronger orgasms, increased natural lubrication, enhanced arousal, and reduced urinary incontinence.

How is the O-Shot Performed?
The O-Shot starts with a simple blood draw that is performed in the same way as a typical blood test. Next, using a centrifuge and a special process, platelet-rich plasma is separated from the patient’s own blood. Preparation for this process takes about 20 minutes and can be done in the treatment room with only topical anesthetic numbing cream.
A single O-Shot treatment can last for up to 1 year
Then a very thin needle is used to inject the growth factors into the clitoris and upper vaginal area. Because these areas have been previously numbed with the anesthetic cream, the patient typically experiences only minimal discomfort from the procedure.
Worried about your relationship?
Consider the O-Shot treatment if you have any of these issues:
- Decreased libido (sex drive)
- Urinary incontinence
- Vaginal dryness (with resulting painful intercourse) from Menopause or from Breast Cancer Treatment
- Decreased ability to orgasm
- Postpartum sexual health concerns
- Chronic pain from trauma from child birth (episiotomy scars)
- Chronic pain from mesh
- Chronic interstitial cystitis
- Lichen sclerosis
- Lichen planus
What happens when I get an O-Shot?
When Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is injected into an area of treatment, the platelets release chemical mediators including growth factors and bioactive proteins to stimulate rejuvenation. This process begins with the formation of new blood vessels carrying vital nutrients for cells and by attracting Stem Cells to repair tissues and nerves.
Multiple studies have shown that PRP can be used to improve blood flow, increase collagen production, regenerate nerve, and remodel scars into more normal tissue
